Edu-250 Information Literacy

Hello, everyone!

I certainly enjoyed Mrs. Thompson's presentation on ETVStreamline. I am so excited about all that she showed us that is available. In fact, I will be using alot of what she showed us in my Learning Center. I am planning on using some of the video in an Inquiry project for my Technology for Teachers class.

One of the sites that is particularly cute is Smart Cat. In his videos, he is teaching chiildren how to be healthy. His site is: http://myetv.org/education/etvkids/smartcat/videos/index.html. You will enjoy it!

Thank you so much for the Webquest information last week. I have actually created a Webquest for second graders called "Our Columbia Webquest." It takes a class through several sites in Columbia including "Riverbanks Zoo" and "Little Pigs" barbeque restaurant. I look forward to being able to create other webquests that may allow my students to take in class field trips!

See you Tusesday!

JoAnn, what a neat idea for a webquest for 2nd graders! I would love to see it if you would like to share it! I too enjoyed the ETV Streamline workshop - I'm so pleased that our state has such a wonderful resource for teachers!

Hey, I just checked out "Smart Cat" - he's my new best friend!
I'm wondering if I could get my cats at home to exercise with me:-)
